The short answer is I think I have a few stories to  tell. Also, I believe the horror genre antagonist has been dumbed down.  Isn't one of the measures of a man, or any  protagonist, the strength of  his enemies? The vampires in my novel SUNLIGHT & SILVER are dark  characters, but motivated by the same things we all are: fear, greed and  even love. They are organized and have planned their coup for decades,  but are not immune to miscalculation and overconfidence.
